Privacy at Younique Music Group
We treat your details with utmost discretion. Your login/registration details for our ‘online shop' are only used for internal checks and for the licences we supply to you. Naturally, this policy also applies to all data we receive when members/subscribers log in.
It may be necessary to provide your details to a third party – your bank or credit card company, for example - in order to supply a product or service you have ordered from us. These third parties may only use this data for the above mentioned purposes. Any other type of use is forbidden.
Younique Music Group will never supply your details to other third parties without requesting your prior written consent, unless it is obligated to do so within the framework of a legal determination or judicial ruling.

All midi files, audio files and other items are arranged for and produced by and are the property of Younique Music Group BV. they are protected by international authorship and copyright law. Displayed images are for graphical purposes only, and are not contractual. Offered products are standard midi file data or audio backing tracks. This does not involve original songs/music, performed by the original artists or produced by the original producer(s).

Guarantee for buying/downloading via the online web shop
During the entire process of buying and downloading from the websites of YMG and Rabo i-Kassa, the buyer is expected to correctly follow all instructions so that ordering, payment and downloading processes can proceed normally. If downloads from YMG's online web shop do not proceed correctly once the buyer has made online payment, due to technical disruptions - which cannot be attributed to the buyer - in the communication link from and/or to the YMG server, then the buyer can report this via e-mail, fax or post. After verification of payment, YMG will then send the requested products via e-mail or give the buyer the opportunity to restart the concerned download. No additional costs will be charged by YMG in this case. The buyer's e-mail, fax or letter must at least contain the following:

- The e-mail address registered at YMG
- The Customer ID
- The payment reference number
- A full product description of the failed download

Intellectual Property rights
Because Adjacent Rights are applicable to our midi files, it is strictly forbidden to use our Digital Data (fully, partly or in any other altered form) for commercials, karaoke CD and/or DVD products, other CD and/or DVD products, backingtracks, multi tracks, multi files, ring tones or other purposes. Without explicit written consent from Younique Music Group BV, you will be committing a serious offence. We will perform structural checks and trace any misuse of our midi files, and will prosecute wherever necessary.

What is permitted?
The legal buyer is responsible for the purchased licence and is entitled to make one personal security copy of our midi and/or audio files. One is also allowed to alter speeds, pitches and possibly instruments/controllers during personal use. By ‘personal use', we also mean using our files for performances. Due to rights issues concerning the broadcasting of songs etc., you must register your activities with BUMA-STEMRA, or related organisations in accordance with applicable legislation. This lies beyond the scope of our licence and responsibilities. You may only buy our products if you accept our conditions and copyrights.

Placing demos on your website, Studios and (promotion) CDs/DVDs
It is possible to place (self-recorded) demos, using our midi files. However, you do need our consent. To obtain consent, always contact us in good time. This is also the case if you want to release a (promotional) CD or DVD using one or more of our midi files or backingtracks. Only (recording) studios that are registered and licensed with us are allowed to edit our files for you. We will be pleased to inform you which studios are allowed to edit our files. Always contact us beforehand.

YMG protects the interests of legal buyers and users.
By legally purchasing our files, you obtain the personal user rights for midi files and/or backingtracks produced by YMG/TMF (You never obtain the property rights!). By downloading and purchasing legally, users and subscribers ensure that production of our products can be continued. This is why we offer our customers a helping hand in protecting their market segment. Since 2008, all our products are marked and can be traced back to the original buyer/subscriber. We take strong action against ‘piracy'. YMG is and continues to be the only rightful owner of its midi files and other products related.

Misuse of our midi & audio licences
Our midi files are regularly requested on the internet, forums, news groups, etc. This means that they are illegally distributed. Many of our midi files are also illegally used as a source for music tapes, backingtracks and audio files. If you obtain our files in this manner, and thus use them illegally, then you run the risk of facing legal prosecution.

We take this opportunity to genuinely appeal to all midi file users, musicians and performers. Buy your midi files LEGALLY from us or our colleagues and do not participate in illegal distribution. We hope that you will appreciate and support our vision and activities against the illegal distribution. With the help of legal users like you, we should be able to keep a close eye on the ‘shared market'.
